Theme 'Mountain Temple' Momoyama Period 7.6cm x 7.8cm x 0.3cm This workstyle
from about the end of Momoyama age ca 1600. Decoration of high relief
combined with inlay of iron and trace amounts of gold. Iron is of the
oroshigane type, highest quality and forged to perfection.
Tempering is exceedingly fine with tekkotsu. |

A Kaneiye Saga piece from Hizen. Appears very serene with religious overtone, as in the work of the first Kaneiye. Mountains and Temples are on the surface in taka-bori, the design being simple but classical. |
