"The design is called, bunbogu, writing materials. In this case, a writing box, paper, brush, ink-stick, and fan paper. This tsuba is very rare to have gold dots of inlay, one on the face of the fan, and two on the reverse. Inlay of any type is very rarely found on any Kinai tsuba."
