Return to Tsuba Collective

Provenance: Robert Haynes Not For Sale
"Early Edo period Kaga iron work with shakudo fukurin. There is a residue of black lacquer. There is the presence of very fine amida yasurime which one could speculate whether this finish was originally intended to have a particular religious meaning.

Signed: 'TOSHISADA' - Kashu en (on the edge of Kaga Province). May be a swordsmith." (Haynes & Long)
