A well forged circular iron tsuchimeji plate decorated with a very elegant design of crashing waves in silver takazogan continuing onto the reverse side. The kozuka-ana filled with shakudo, the kogai-ana with shakudo pillow.
Mei: 'BUSHU no JU MASANOBU'. H 04306.0. Worked in both the classic Bushu Ito school style and a Choshu style.
