Kaneiye is the Masamune of tsuba. He worked from the late Muromachi to Momoyama period. His quiet and peaceful work begins to get its highlight in Edo period. This tsuba is attributed by Hizen Kugimoto called Hizen Kaneiye and papered Hozon from the NBTHK.  Made in Edo. Very peaceful work showing the fishman on the river. Big 8.2cm (3.25") diamenter and thickness is 4mm.
