Iron sukashi tsuba of chrysanthemum design (kikugata), though conventional, is well carved and sharply cut. The style is gentle and expresses the luxury of the nobility. Both hitsu-ana of kozuka shape. In Japan, this is described as 'tetsu migaki ji (kikka) kiku-gata sukashi tsuba'. |
