A masterpiece by the 16th head of the Goto family, signed by Goto Mitsuaki, featuring a shakudo (copper alloy) nanako (fish roe) pattern with a folded crane and pine tree motif in high relief with gold and silver inlay.
This masterpiece was created by Mitsuaki Goto, who boasted exceptional skill among the metalworkers of the Goto family from the fourth generation onward. The folded crane and the pine tree with roots are both auspicious symbols and are considered auspicious. |
