| Provenance: Robert E. Haynes Elliott Long |
NFS |
"Since the existance of multiple Nobuiye, there are extremely few records of activities due to the background of the Sengoku period. One of its charms is that it is a mysterious existence despite the fact that this masterpiece has been left behind and is already the subject of study. This work is made of a sturdy iron base that is thicker and is a complex drawing method that combines pattern hammering with hair carving. This chisel is typical. The inscription is a so-called abandoned inscription. It is well-balanced and evaluated as a practical signature for the Sengoku period."(Long) 9.00cm x 8.70cm x 0.50cm |
