"Kofun period gilt bronze sword (bronze with hair engraving and gold inlay) and bridle mirror plate, excavated items, boxed and appraised by Sato Kanzan, inscribed "Senkoyo.

Guaranteed authentic! The appraisal was done by Sato Kanzan, a renowned authority on swords who was involved in the Ministry of Education's National Treasure Survey, served as Director of the Sword Section of the Tokyo National Museum's Curatorial Department, and Secretary-General of the Association for the Preservation of Japanese Art Swords. The appraisal was also inscribed with the inscription "Senkoho." This is a valuable collection of gilt-bronze swords and bridle mirror plates (a type of horse equipment) from Japan's Kofun period. The gilt-bronze swords are crafted from bronze and feature intricate engravings and gold plating, demonstrating that highly advanced metalworking techniques were already in place by the Kofun period. While some remains remain due to being excavated items, this is a magnificent collection of various bronze artifacts and weapons from the Kofun period. The items are presented in a Sato Kanzan appraisal box (1970/Showa 45). Guaranteed authentic!" (Long)
