Well forged iron plate with particular attention to the rim. The rim is classic design for this school. There are two sukashi openings, one a 'War Fan' representing the Sengoku Period and the other a circle which could represent the sun or moon. One hitsu-ana and signs of having been mounted several times.

Accompanied with KICHO (white papers) - "Important Work" dated 1975.
