Iron plate in rounded square shape (okaku maru) with a migaki-ji surface. Both hitsu-anas are present and original, one being plugged with shakudo. There appears a slight trace of gold nunome. There are three sukashi openings in a inner circumference formation representing possible plant life. Many iron bones are present in the rim. Dates to the early Edo period. The 'SHOAMI' kanji are almost un-readable. |
