"Round iron plate with design of folding fans in openwork. The kaku mimi rim takes the form of a slightly rounded, but almost square-shape displaying tekkotsu. Dates to ca. 1500-1550. Both surfaces display fine hammer work (tsuchime) which gives a simple, quiet elegance in the effect." (Long) 77.1mm x 76.3mm x 4.7mm |
