"An iron plate having a well-hammered surface (nadekaku) in a square shape with largely rounded corners. One dragon figure inlayed in gold and well carved outlining the kogai-ana on each face. Above a sukashi representation of a second dragon. The rim is well hammered and displays much tekkotsu.
Dates to late Momoyama to early Edo period." (Long)
