DAI tsuba: Iron with open work design of paulownia and hikiryo emblem of two lines. This is a classic design used by many Higo school masters. Wonderful color and condition of the iron, and the carving in the leafs confirms this by a member of the Higo Kamiyoshi family, which one is unknown.

SHO tsuba: Iron with open work design of paulownia and hikiryo emblem of two lines. This is a classic design used by many Higo school masters. Masatada used a number of kakushi tagane around the nakago ana of his tsuba, in this example 10 punch marks on the lower part and 5 slightly visable at the top. Juhei Masatada was the founder of the Higo Kamiyoshi family school.
