"Copper plate of oval form, with a deep orange patina. The edge with a shibuichi (silver) rope form rim cover, which is original to the plate. The plate is carved and inlaid with Hina Ningyo dolls, flowers and other objects in silver, shakudo and gold. The hitsu-ana are shakudo filled. A very fine example of KIYOSADA (H 03321.0) of the Kusakari family in Sendai. He was the son of Kusakari Hachirobei (H 00720.0). His art name is Hachisaburo."
