Return to Tsuba Collective
An exceptional sukashi tsuba of an iris plant depicting leaves, stem, and a single flower bud at the top. There are traces of original black lacquer and slight tekkotsu on the rim. This dates to ca.1750-1800.

The number L.2041.3 (in red) appears inside nakago-ana indicating it was displayed in a museum. The number 66 (in white) is on the face of the seppa-dai.
