"An iron daito plate that is well hammered in a largely squared circular shape. With a well carved crane inlayed in silver and gold, flying past the sun or moon, usually in nunome to designate which orb. The plum branch with inlays of gold, shakudo and copper. On the reverse a stream with inlayed landscape. Dates to ca. 1700-1750." (Long) |
